In addition to running his gym, Chris Cardona is also a professional actor, and he has used his fight expertise and fight scene choreography experience in numerous FILMS, TELEVISION SHOWS, and THEATRE PRODUCTIONS. He has worked with Sandra Bullock , James Earl Jones, Danny Aiello, William Devane, Steven Segal, Woody Allen, James Gandolfini, Whoopi Goldberg, Sarah Jessica Parker, Chris Noth, and Robert Deniro.
He has costarred in an Indie Film with Sandra Bullock, playing a boxer, played the lead role on the FOX show COP FILES, and 2 episodes of the HBO series, THE SOPRANOS as Johnny Sac's bodyguard. Most recent work includes the recurring role of Carlo's Thug on ABC's ONE LIFE TO LIVE and a featured role on LAW & ORDER, SVU. and he just finished shooting a fight scene on THE GUIDING LIGHT, playing the Thug-for-Hire, along with former Heavyweight Champion Lou Savarese. Most recently he was cast in the co-starring role of Detective Jake Barba on the hit series LAW & ORDER: Criminal Intent.

Chris has been actively involved in and teaching Kickboxing and Boxing for the past 30 years. He is the Owner of The Bellmore Kickboxing Academy. He was the founder of the original Wantagh Kickboxing Academy which opened up in 1993, to great success. The Bellmore Kickboxing Academy was opened when he and his students outgrew the smaller Wantagh facility. He and his partner Keith Trimble made the newer facility an even better success.
Chris trains full contact fighters, both amatuer and professional, as well as people who are just looking to get in terrific shape. His fighters have won championship belts in almost every weight division. He trains current IKF Champion of the World and current WKA Champion of the World, Bobby "The Jackhammer" Campbell.
